To kick off the night we are pleased to welcome Paul Lines to the QC Club. Fresh from his Las Vegas gigs his music will get us all dancing before The Mentals hit the stage.
Paul Lines was born and raised in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. From humble beginnings, formed his first band whilst still in High school and upon leaving to pursue job exploits in 1989 he decided to also make an appearance on the Nine Networks “Hey Hey It’s Saturday’s Red Faces” segment which led to his first real band. However, it lacked clear direction & so Paul joined “The Radio Pirates” in Bendigo for the next couple of years before forming “Logic” in 1993. This was essentially his baby, performing support to some of Australian Rocks Biggest Names including.. Boom Crash Opera, The Bad Loves, John Farnham, Hunters & Collectors, The Black Sorrows, Daryl Braithwaite as well as The ChoirBoys whom Paul was asked by Mark Gable to step on stage with to perform a rendition of their hit “Rendezvous”.
Paul then formed Plural alongside Nicola Goldsworthy and worked solidly until Paul decided to uproot & move to Brisbane in January 2002 where he began work on a solid solo career. He also joined a three in one tribute band showcasing The Australian Neil Finn Tribute, The Vocal Chameleon Tribute Show – Featuring John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes & Diesel and a very well received Bryan Adams Tribute Show.
In March of 2010 Paul was asked to fill in for David Scott on the Australian Bee Gees Show’s USA Spring Tour which lead to him being asked to come on board as a permanent member of their touring line-up in the role of Robin when the original line-up signed a permanent engagement as headline act at The Excalibur Casino & Hotel Resort on the Famous Las Vegas Strip in March 2011. In July 2013, Canadian based Company Annerin Productions signed a joint contract with ABGShow Inc. and an entirely new concept show was created with Paul once again taking on the role of Robin.. as of the beginning of 2016 Paul has performed in several countries around the world including USA, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Guam, Germany & Mexico.
Now back in Australia he is booked solidly, enjoying performing back on home soil and getting back to grass roots.
